THE ART OF ADAPTATION
May 8, 2008
7:00pm - Register on-line or by calling 720-270-3042.

Focus on the positive. Making it balance. Finding simple solutions to difficult problems. Staying in control. Relaxing. To just"be".

HORSE CARE IN TODAY'S ECONOMY
May 9, 2008
7:00pm - Please register on-line or by calling 720-270-3042.
DESCRIPTION:
How much does it really cost to feed a horse? Maybe not as much as you would think! Grass hay or alfalfa? Supplements? How do you get your money's worth? Do they really need all that stuff?

USING YOUR POTENTIAL
May 15, 2008
7:00pm - Register on-line or by calling 720-270-3042.
DESCRIPTION:
The horse. A symbol of power. A symbol of freedom. A symbol of birth. Associated with death. A widely recognized symbol in mythology. A powerful tool during the Crusades. An animal greatly responsible for the growth of civilization. A status symbol in today's society. But...do you really know your horse? Have you felt his Spirit? Has he touched your soul? Have you felt his energy? Are you and your horse competing against each other? Do you and your horse work independently instead of cooperatively? Do you and your horse have a strained relationship? Do you nit-pick and bicker? Do you have reasons, excuses, explanations and justifications rather than solutions? Do you and your horse have differing goals? Do you really want to make the trainer's future financially secure? Wouldn't it be nice to have a really good horse? How does that happen? Could it just be by luck of the draw? Hardly...

PRACTICAL FIRST AID
May 16, 2008
7:00pm - Register on-line or by calling 720-270-3042.
DESCRIPTION:
There are practical things you can do while you're waiting for the veterinarian to get there. Do you know what they are? What if your horse cut a leg, got tangled in wire, got a leg caught in a fence, or cast himself against the side of the barn? How do you help your horse? We'll discuss bandaging, punctures, lacerations, first aid kits, infection and much more!

THE MAGIC OF PREDATOR AND PREY
May 22, 2008
7:00pm - Register on-line or by calling 720-270-3042.
DESCRIPTION:
We all know that humans are predators and horses are prey. Have you given any thought to why these two most very different species get along so well? Let's discuss the intricate and inner-workings of this special relationship.

DISEASE CONTROL
May 23, 2008
7:00pm - Register on-line or by calling 720-270-3042.
DESCRIPTION:
What would happen if there were a major outbreak of one of those diseases we read about? Could it happen here? We vaccinate for them, do you know what they are? How horses get them? What the symptoms are?
